The Illinois Basketball Hall of Fame was formed and dedicated in 1973 and s governed by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Board of Directors. This group also serves as the selection committee for induction into the hall. Plans are underway to relocating the hall to Decatur, Illinois.
