The 1915 team coached by T. J. Beck stands as one of the best teams to wear the Collinsville uniform. During the season they were able to defeat most of the high school teams and several of the independent teams played. After losing out in the District Tournament, the fans decided to send them to Evanston, Illinois to play in the Central States Tournament. They did well there winning two and losing two to some top flight teams.
During the 1916 season, Irwin Brede, Collinsville player, set the school scoring record of forty points. This record stood for thirty-seven years.
